Kalparrin’s free, online Connect & Learn Peer Support Program is for parents and carers raising children with similar diagnoses, ages and/or developmental stages.
These peer support groups run regularly in line with the school term. Expert guest speakers provide information and guidance on a host of topics of specific importance and relevance to the group such as:
NDIS | Sibling support | Support for carers | Managing challenging behaviours | Advocating for your child | Puberty and sexuality | Education | Emergency care planning.
Groups meet online each week, enabling parents and carers to develop networks and ongoing relationships that often continue once the program has concluded.
