It is with sadness and enormous gratitude that we recently said farewell to Barbara Scott OAM, our committed and long-standing Patron of Kalparrin. Barbara has served as Kalparrin’s patron for 10 years and has advocated strongly for children with disability and their families throughout this time. Thank you Barbara and we wish you all the best.
At the same time, we are deeply honoured to be welcoming aboard Hon Donna Faragher MLC who joined us for a photo call at the Perth Children’s Hospital in August 2021 to officially take up the role of Patron for Kalparrin.
Currently the Liberal Member for the East Metro Region and Shadow Minister for Community Services; Early Childhood Education; Youth; Seniors and Ageing, this is what the Minister had to say when she met with us recently:
“I am delighted to be the new Patron of Kalparrin. I know Kalparrin is a highly valued organisation within the Western Australian community. As a former Minister for Disability Services and a long-time advocate of organisations and initiatives supporting children and young people across Western Australia, I am looking forward to working with Carrie, her team and most importantly the children, families and carers that Kalparrin supports everyday. Thank you for the privilege of being your Patron.”
