With support from a Lotterywest grant, Kalparrin has re-developed and launched its new website. The new-look Kalparrin website has a number of new features to help inform and support families of children with special needs. The Kalparrin Forum will enable families to post questions and exchange information with other families. An extensive Links section provides access to a range of information on specific disabilities and conditions, carer support options, advocacy services, respite and recreation options, pre-school and education support services. Registration for Respite Events will be available on-line as will Membership applications and renewals. Families and service providers can sign up to receive E-news bulletins. A new content management system will allow regular updating of the new website.
Kalparrin acknowledges the significant contribution made by Marianne Jablon to the re-development of the website and the contribution made by members, Mandy Cain and Jenny Bourke.
